re Duncanpr: As the user base to this website attests to, there are a LOT of international comics fans already.

I am kind of curious, where are all the international people from on this site. I know we have some UK folk, but is there anyone here from a non English speaking country. Just curious.

I know when I studied in Cork it wasn't super easy to find comics, and it is the second biggest city in Ireland.

there are a few. I think Ukraine, some people were in from a persian forum, I see that the stats have a few from almost anywhere. Not so much commenting from all the non-english speakers, but that's understandable.

That BleedingCool headline up there is eerily prophetic: http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2011/04/29/hijacked-superman-turned-loving-anti-american/.

honestly, I think he kind of encouraged it. If he broke the "news" (possible) and phrased it that way, he was pretty much challenging them.

That article makes me laugh.

1) It used wikipedia as a source. Sounds so respectful.

2) Wonder Woman is so American………..right?

Not to mention the whole Batman being a "criminal" for many years and now taking over the world 1984 style (a much more British thing to do than US).

This is what we come to expect from Fox News though; although I still managed to be shocked by the whole "the occasional big word (for comic book readers)" part, if they had ever read any amount of comics they'd know this to be a pile of crap.

Sorry I'm so late to the game, but I just found this site.

I think Superman was supposed to be very world oriented all along, but over the last 20 years or so, you didn't see references of him doing even short missions around the world. It would be good to see him get back to that. I would think he needs very little sleep, so he could be doing things by day on the other side of the planet fairly often.

I seem to remember a villain that had one green and one blue eye, though the memory eludes me at the moment.
