According to some news sources and twitter explosion, Dwayne McDuffie has passed.
I've only interacted with him a little bit but this was way before his time In fact, I just had a tiny twitter exchange with him an extremely short time ago, talking about hopes for future work.
I'm actually really torn up about this and.. well, I have no words past this point.
Allow me a few more hours of denial. Celebrate his life and work.

This is incredibly sad news. It was much too soon for him to go.

Sad indeed. Thank you for opening us up to his work and allowing us the opportunity to appreciate what he and his team has created.

You're probably more familiar with his work than you think. He did a lot of the DC animated stuff, including the new All Star Superman movie.

Wow really? I was planning on renting that this week. That's nice to know that he was still very involved in the buisness.

It is very sad news indeed, and rightly so twitter is awash with uncountable words of memory for him.

I think its so amazing all that he did with his life. His creative material made me think sometimes and were always enjoyable. We are very lucky to have shared in this mans passion.
