Also, I'm confused why there are so many X-Men images posted…or were you just trying to provide options?
Anyway, I agree with Ian about Uncanny — that should either be the image from X-Men #1 or Giant-Size X-Men #1 (probably the latter). For the team pages (and for character pages in general), I think it would be a better idea to go for iconic art by artists strongly identified with the characters than for stuff by random artists who may be good, but don't have that same connection. Hence the preponderance of JR Jr. and Mark Bagley images for the Spidey pics I did, and a lot of Jim Lee and Alan Davis for X-Men.
There should be more than one tag for "New X-Men," if there isn't already. One should refer to the Grant Morrison run, because I think that's a big enough category and there are enough collections related to it that it would be helpful. Then there's the subsequent series that was essentially about the younger generation of mutants at the Institute. This group started off as the second iteration of the New Mutants, later became known as New Mutants: Academy X (then just New X-Men), went to being called Young X-Men for a while, and are now known as New Mutants again.

If they switch titles so often, how would one keep track of them except for by the individual characters? Say, Dust or X-23. We should start a new thread about x-men tags.
Speaking of, here we are, in the new thread.
So, Marc, what do you suggest as team name tags? I really don't know enough about x-men chronology. I've only read a few major arcs. The tags, as they are in right now, basically follow trade and issue names. If it said "new x-men" on the issue, I put "new x-men"
Perhaps we should keep that, but also say New X-Men (by Morrison) or New X-Men (Younger Generation) and then in the main tag header have links to the sub-categories. Something like that.
Anyway, bed for me now!

Yeah I just posted a few for options. As I've said before I'm a DC guy so I'm very cautious about treading around looking for Marvel images. I don't want to screw up too bad…so when in doubt I put up options :-)

Awesome, I just was confused by the the sudden volume of X-Men images, that's all! More X-Men is always a good thing.

Dude come back to the DC side then; I've had great fun going through in reverse alphabetical order, in contrary to Marc's statement of it being boring that is. Every other character is new to me, so I'm getting to read their bio's as I go.
Also to pull DC into this whole mess about super-teams getting different tags for each team version, will we see this happening for different versions of JLA/JSA/Outsiders etc. I know there are already some but for instance the current JLA volume has Dinah running it and is vastly different to previous incarnations.

yeah. I'm open to that kind of thing. The easiest way to do it might be to submit something that looks like this:
New Tag: JLA (Big Seven)
Description: This version of the justice league has the classic big seven characters. blah blah blah here they are listed with links to each of their lists. You may also be interested in World's Finest or Superman / Batman, the general Justice League tag, JLA, JLI, etc, etc ,etc etc. (obviously a real, better written description with links.)
Books To Be Added:
JLA Deluxe 1-4
JLA: Midsummer Nights dream
and so on. So I can just put in the new tag, put in the description, and then go down the list adding the books. I'm a little swamped to go through and try and think of new tags now, but if it's made easy for me I'm willing to put them in, haha

The only reason I was doing Marvel is because Ian was hoping to get the popular marvel characters finished with the right images since we will be having new members visiting the site with the new Marvel update. Once we get the secondary Most Popular Matvel sidebar done I'll probably move on. I'd like to get the most popular creators done too.

yeah, I also forgot the Marvel Series tags, those are probably important. Great work so far on everything though. There's really nothing to be done in that area that would be 'useless' – it's all good!
