Ok, from what I understand, this stuff is supposed to fit into continuity somewhere. I'm not a classic X-Men expert, though I've read all the Wolverine Classic volumes and have a passing familiarity with the claremont era. I figure this might be Marc territory. Here are the books I've got to place. I'd like to place them into the reading order somehow (since the chronological list will take care of the date placements… so misewell try a stab at the other placements.)

Wow, sorry for totally missing this thread before. Luckily, I think I already addressed these books to the best of my ability in the other thread you mentioned them in. I'll ask around about Wolverine: First Class to see whether all the issues take place around the same time, or if they're scattered throughout X-Men history, because I have no idea. I've really been wanting to read these series, though, because they look like a lot of fun.

I asked a friend when WFC takes place, and he said: "Somewhere in that early-mid '80s period of Uncanny. Unlike the X-Men: First Class books it's pretty vague about when it takes place. From what I've read it predates the Kitty Pryde and Wolverine mini-series and her ninja training. I don't know if Peter David ended up jumping around more in his later issues."

I think I'm probably going to place it along with the uncanny x-men first class stuff all in one chunk. that sound right?
I'll put a note in the description saying we're looking for advice on better placement.

Yeah, it probably works for now. It's hard to tell even by looking at the covers…some of them have Wolverine in his brown & yellow costume, while others have in the blue & yellow. One even has a blue & yellow Wolverine fighting a version of himself dressed in the brown & yellow, lol.

to be honest, ever since he joined the x-men he even switched DURING a single period. still does.
I wonder if they've ever shown him changing costumes. I know at least now they make reference to his "avengers time" etc.

He switches things up a lot today, but he spent a long time in the brown & yellow duds. The addition of blue to the costume was a Jim Lee thing.
