I've been trying to navigate the site to do this, but it's proving more difficult than I had anticipated. Can someone help me organize these trades in Reading Order?
Superman For All Seasons
Batman Year One
Batman The Long Halloween
DC: The New Frontier Vol. 1
DC: The New Frontier Vol. 2
Crisis On Infinite Earths
Watchmen
Batman Arkham Asylum
Batman The Dark Knight Returns
Batman The Dark Knight Strikes Again
Hellblazer Original Sins
The Sandman Preludes and Nocturnes
The Sandman Endless Nights
JLA New World Order
Kingdom Come
Superman Batman Public Enemies
Identity Crisis
Green Lantern Rebirth
Batman Hush Vol. 1
Batman Hush Vol. 2
All-Star Superman Vol. I
All-Star Superman Vol. II
Superman: Red Son
JLA: Rock of Ages
JLA: Terror Incognita
JLA: Heaven's Ladder
Batgirl: Year One
Final Crisis
The Sinestro Corps War Vol. 1
The Sinestro Corps War Vol. 2
Batman: The Killing Joke
I've got more, but this will do for now. Thanks!

I've been trying to figure out some kind of feature where a user can add the trades they own to a list that they can display organized in order. It's kind of a hard thing to figure out, and I'm only learning slowly, though so it's gonna take me some time. I really need a wordpress plugin developer to get interested in this project, lol.
For now, Daniel and I figured out a way that kind of helps to do this – you can make a two column excel file (or google documents, I guess) and put the titles in one column. Then go to their page and copy the "unique reading order id" from each book. If you paste that in the column next to the book, you can sort your books by their reading order id.
http://www.ehow.com/how_206318…..-2007.html – this might help you with figuring out how to do that in excel from 2007 and up.
After I finish getting the info for the books I'm hoping to add to the database today, I'll look into the user tagged lists a little more. I just had some interesting thoughts on how to do it.

Though honestly, for the most part, those trades are all so widely unrelated that reading order doesn't matter too much. Batgirl: Year One comes before The Killing Joke. Infinite Crisis before Identity Crisis before Final Crisis. You should really read all of the Sandman ongoing before hitting Endless Nights, though I guess it doesn't matter too much, it will be more enjoyable.
Anyway, let me know if you have any trouble with the excel thing and I'll try and help you more specifically.

Thanks. I have read all of Sandman, but right now those are the only two in the series I personally own. I just wanted to get my current collection up to TRO.

No problem – let me know how the excel thing goes if you try it.
The tagging a book as in your collection thing would be really awesome if I get it working. I think it would make the site a lot more useful. I'd also want to add in an option to sort your collection list in several different ways – by reading order, chronological, alphabetical, etc.

Awesome!
Getting in the new books tonight has taken a little longer than I expected, but I promise I'll be working on the add to collection thing soon :D

I would love to see that feature added. As it is, I don't have a decent record anywhere of all my collected editions…I have a profile on Comic Book DB, but that also includes all my single issues from back when I actually bought monthly titles, so it's all mixed together. It would be nice to have more of a DVDAF-style list for the stuff that's on my bookshelf.

Yeah, that was my problem with CBDB too. It's a really awesome website (and I'm super happy to link them on every book, because this site wouldn't be possible without them) but it didn't help me organize my collection at all. Keep track of it, maybe, but not organize.
Reading Orders wouldn't really work there because you kind of need one subjective viewpoint to keep a master list – it's not something thousands of fans are ever going to agree on. I like being really open to feedback, but when it comes down to it, people want a simple answer, even if it's not perfect. So this site is to answer that "What's next?" question as quickly as possible.

Hey check it out TPBros! If you're logged in, you can add books to your collection now!
It should be relatively simple to style/sort that list.. so once I figure that out, you'll be able to see a list of your books in order!

Ok, it's sorted now, and now you can add from the reading order pages. Go ahead and give it a shot and see if/how it works!
