Finally figured out the problem with the white background for the content! Thanks to the wordpress.org support forums, who helped me find that adding a little footer with a “clear: both;” tag in its style would fix the issue. Worked like a charm. Now I can actually start thinking about what I want the background image to be. I suppose the temp image is fine for now, though it is a little busy. I tried a few other options but none of them looked right. I’ll focus on the sidebar/page thing first and then adding more covers, as always.
