Prose (Not sure if I’m including these yet)

The Big question is this: Should I just be organizing these by the collected issue release dates? Or is there something more complicated going on?

For now, I’m starting to get these in date order so I can upload them to the database. But let me know if anything is missing!

Alright, I’ve got the display error fixed (apparently the “post_type=any” doesn’t need to be in the individual book display code once it’s in the global code). And now, hot on the heals of the Fables order, all the Buffyverse books listed on the site have been changed to the custom post type.

These are all actually tagged with Buffyverse characters as well, but they don’t yet display on the pages. Soon!

So for some reason it’s displaying the cover file as a double version of the book entry (but without any of the custom field data) right above the actual book entry. Super weird!

I’m gonna get right on it – hopefully it will be fixed by the time you read this.

For some reason some of the book entries were not showing in the correct layout (Ultimate Marvel, Self Contained, America’s Best, possibly others). I added a – to the slugs, since they had spaces in them, thinking that might be it… it still didn’t work for an hour or so, driving me crazy, but then randomly started working just a couple minutes ago. So that’s fixed! I think.

Weird.

I thought I’d share a couple quick links on my break.

First, over on the Marvel Masterworks/DC Archives foums, I’ve been getting a lot of useful feedback on my Crisis For Infinite Nerds essay. It’s worth checking out! There’s also a lot of cool information about DC publication history for books like Ronin.

Second, Dave from Cactus Comics posted a link to us over at The Bullpen! Thanks Dave!

And welcome to any visitors finding us from there! Let me know if you have any questions at all! Nothing is too silly – there’s a lot of information here and it may not always be easy to find what you need. I’d be happy to help you on your way (or hear recommendations on how to make it easier!)

As a side note, I set the default forum avatar here to be the stressed out guy from the Action Comics cover. If you want a different one, there’s a pretty big DC avatar thread at Comic Book Resources, which is a nice place to start.
