I’m about to start adding the golden age books into the reading order and I wanted to finish the ones already in there first. That way I could just add covers and other info while moving the new books and the first few pages will stay nice and complete instead of getting more and more empty looking (I love how it looks when all the books on a page have their thumbnails!)
So besides the behind the scenes stuff, these are the couple books that I finished updating:
In terms of site updates, I made a few smallish tweaks. I changed the threaded comments a little, so you can now have more levels of replies. I also took off the one pixel border from the reply comments – and for my own uses, added an edit link to the replies when I’m logged in, though hopefully I won’t have to use it much.
I fixed the Reddit and Twitter links in the right sidebar, they should now both open and populate correctly. Let me know if you have any problems with them, though.
I played with putting a twitter feed in the sidebar, but I didn’t like any iteration of the default widget. I may try again later with some custom code.
I probably goofed around on Twitter way too much today. I never made a personal one because I didn’t see the point, but now that I have one just to geek out about comics, it has the potential to be pretty bad. Luckily, I don’t have time to be on it all day.
