Up Down

Looks like I have another set of Archives to add to the DC Universe Reading Order.

And another set that I’ve got to buy! And here I was just getting over the fact that I’m looking at purchasing 26 Spirit Archives!

DC has announced that the T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents will be officially joining the DC Universe in a series created by Nick Spencer and CAFU. More details are at The Source, DC’s Official Blog. Looks like covers by Frank Quitely and Darwyn Cooke are in the works.

Expect the first floppy issue to hit the shelves in November. I’m sure we’ll see a collected edition at some point, if it sells well.

In the meantime, you might want to check out the classic T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Archives.

These are the existing books I’ll soon be adding to the database:

T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Archives, Volume 1 – T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #1-4
T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Archives, Volume 2 – T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #5-7 and Dynamo #1
T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Archives, Volume 3 – T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #8-10 and Dynamo #2
T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Archives, Volume 4 – T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #11, NoMan #1-2 and Dynamo #3
T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Archives, Volume 5 – T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #12-14 and Dynamo #4
T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Archives, Volume 6 – T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents #15-20 plus covers of four UNDERSEA Agent books
The T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents Companion

As a related side note, I’ve tagged the Spirit Archives with the DC Archives label.

Haha, did I call this or what? :) I wonder if the older material will officially be brought into continuity by this, or if just the new series will be part of the DC universe.

    hah. Yes, you did.

Either way, by our system, we’ll have to include the older stuff in the reading order. That’s what we’re doing with Tor, The Spirit, and even Blue Beetle or any other character that’s had an older history.

Works cause we’re not worried about continuity, just having a complete list of all the DC related comics someone might want to collect.

A good official policy: every comic related to the DC Multiverse is included in the list, with the exception of those owned by rival or subsidiary publishers. Vertigo is a special exception.
