Colors of Magic is a collection of short stories that take place from during The Brothers War through the end of the Ice Age cycle. There are a couple of stories for each color of magic. The stories obviously are suppose to symbolize and fit to that specific color. Some are dead on and great stories but others don’t fit the color at best and are a plain waste of time and paper at worse. I must admit I’m not a huge fan of short stories though there are one or two really good ones. There are a few that coordinate with some of the minor characters extending those stories which is aways fun to read as well.
