So I’ve gone through and done some testing and tweaking as I go. I’ve taken off the sidebars for now, until I find a better solution – it just felt way too cramped and not at all enjoyable to use with all that stuff there. Not a bit deal for the book lists and blog, but a forum needs a little more space for expression, I think.
I made a thread in each area and ran into a few formatting things – fixed some css and it looks a little better. I’m gonna have to go in and change a lot more, but I figure I’ll do a little each time I use the thing. If it’s not getting much traffic at first, I probably won’t change much past this point. Once we’ve got more content going on a regular basis, it will develop into a pretty little flower.
I also added a link to the forum on the sidebar.
