She-Hulk, a buxom fem-exploitation-ish offshoot of Hulk, as the name implies, has grown to be her own character since her introduction in 1980. This trade starts her 2004 ongoing, and is well worth checking out – it's one of the best things to come out of the house of ideas in the last ten years.

Slott's run on She-Hulk is one his most critically acclaimed. I haven't read as much as I would like to, though. I'm totally looking forward to his run on Amazing. He is the perfect match for Spidey because he is a great juggler of seriousness and humor. On a side note, I actually have almost all the singles of Sensational She-Hulk and I have to say there is some funny stuff in those issues. They are NOT to be missed.

This is one of my favorite trades to pull out and re-read. Bobillo's art is wonderful and the early issues of this run are stellar. It loses its way a little around Vol. 3-4, as I think Slott would even admit, but it ends nicely.

Yeah, I'm sure that I'm not the only one to have enjoyed it – but it was so good (and not one I've heard about as much as say, Miller's Daredevil or Brubaker's Captain America) so I figured it was worth an extra push.
I noticed a solicitation for Sensational She Hulk Vol 1. Do you think that means they're planning on collecting the full run?

yeah, I think that's where the crossovers come in heavy. There's Civil War, World Without a Hulk (or whatever that was called)… It always seems harder for titles that aren't a main title to hold consistency with such crossovers.

Most likely they are, but with no set schedule for release. Of course, it depends on sales.

That's the sad story with all collections as you know. It never seems like they are collecting what you want and when they do, it's always in minuscule quantities.

Sometimes yes. And then sometimes they give you Starman Omnibus. I have hopes for the future ;)

Yay, first post! I am currently thinking about giving PAD's run of
She-Hulk a chance.
Since I have heard
many bad things about it, I
would like to know if there are at least important developments plot-wise I need to know to better understand future Shulkie-series. And is it really horrible?
