Update: This giveaway is now closed and the winner will be announced soon. You can see the latest giveaways and results here.

Update 2: The winner has been announced.

Here’s the weekly giveaway!

I’m constantly impressed by all of you TRO users and now Chris D. has stepped up in a way that should please everyone – he’s donating some of his spare books to our giveaways!

Perfect timing, since it leaves me a bit more free time to work on the Marvel books and a bit more spare cash to focus on sending out the previous giveaway books.

The first in the stack is Green Arrow: Road To Jericho, which is a post-Infinite Crisis trade for our emerald archer.

Judd Winick, Andy Owens and Scott McDaniel deliver a story often praised, which brings the relationship between Green Arrow and Black Canary to the forefront.

These giveaways will work just as normal, except Chris will be shipping them out directly.

Thanks dude!

The Rundown:

(1) Prize: One copy of Green Arrow: Road To Jericho

(1) Random Comment Winner: One logged in commenter will be randomly selected from the replies to this post.

Eligibility: You must be registered and logged in when you comment to be eligible. You must also be in the continental USA for shipping purposes. If you are overseas and want to pay for the shipping yourself, feel free to enter, but keep in mind that it will probably be more expensive than just buying the book.

Deadline: You have until 11:59 on Friday, February 18th, 2011.

Good luck everyone!

Thanks for the giveaway, Chris! I’m a Green Arrow noob, personally, but Judd Winick is enough to pique my interest about any character.

I’ve always been a Green Arrow fan, but I’ve never actually owned any of the comic books. I’d love this one, especially with Andy Owens as an inker.

Nice one Chris, I have a couple of spares I’ve been thinking about doing the same with at some point but just ever got around to it. I thought I’d wait as mine would have to be a UK give-away. Also excellent choice of book to give away.

Oh my! Green Arrow is my favorite DC character. He is the left-wing Batman when you get down to it. But I’ve always loved and related to Olliver Queen as a person. I have also made his chili (recipe found in secret files and origins)
This is the TPB of a period when I was too poor to buy the book. SCORE!

Haha..this is great! Thanks for posting this recipe. I recently came into a stack of G.A. Vol 1-9 (read GA V1 when it came out in TPB due to Smith writing it) so I’m diving in head first and loving it. The opening of V2 shows Oliver giving Mia some chili and burning her face off. I must try!

When the world was fundamentally altered during Trinity, the “foul, scorched taste” of Ollie’s Chili was one of the few things capable of reminding a godlike Batman of the reality he had come from, when he was reminded of it by Dick Grayson.[1]

Ive been a green arrow fan since the grell years. Green Arrow is a must have. Lynchpin of the DC universe. I actually was very sad when he “died” in the mid 90s

Just read this, after getting it in the mail, I loved the artwork, but I (as I said) have never been into the Green Arrow before, so I didn’t understand some of it, so to first time readers, get some back knowledge before this one
