Peter Milligan returns to Batman for DC's continuity-light Batman Confidential title. He's joined by recent Batman & Robin artist, Andy Clarke in a book that follows Batman as he chases a perceived threat overseas to Moscow, where he lands in unfamiliar territory with a widely feared beast at his back. Batman is the title character of this book, but it's as much about Bear, the monstrous force under control of the Russian crime lord.

for another great review of this book, check out this one at the Iceberg Lounge:

He posted it as I was writing this review, haha. He goes into more detail on Milligan's detective run, which I haven't read, so it's worth a read!

Cool, it's always nice to hear multiple perspectives on books like these, and between your review and Matches', I'm very much intrigued by this trade. I'm not really familiar with Andy Clarke, but from the scans here he seems to be a great artist. I'll be looking forward to seeing more of his work in the future.

I'm glad scanning is working out so well. I was worried about bindings at first, but the books seem to be much more resilient than I thought they would be.
There's some gross noise in most of my scans (interlacing or whatever?) but since I'm only using them for review purposes it's not a big deal. Don't have to worry about printing the reviews, so it all works out!
