Lansdale is a writer with a fair amount of experience with Westerns, and Truman is well known for grim and disturbing art. Together, they’ve put together an ultra violent story of their version of Jonah Hex designed to bring the scarred cowboy to Vertigo’s audience.

It’s amazing how a work can be considered legendary and obscure at the same time. Concrete, by Paul Chadwick, is capable of evoking eerie horror, humor dark and light, tenderness, laugh out loud moments, and disgust. A human story, in every aspect.
