As the title of the book implies, we’re getting some Origin up in here. The bulk of this book is made by two slightly longer stories – Retribution, a three-parter with art by Jordi Bernet, along with The Ballad of Tallulah Black, over two issues with Phil Noto – and a single issue story, I Walk Alone, drawn by Val Semeiks.

This book was crafted entirely using computers! You might not have noticed it due to the subtlety and smoothness of much of the linework.

El Diablo is a tightly plotted and executed book, a bit of horse opera noir. Azzarello is at his best here, crafting a near Shakespearean tale of tumbleweed treachery, while Danijel Zezelj brings some unique styling to the art.
